A little bit about me...
Hi, I’m Marisol, the photographer and artist behind Amanita Photo Co. based in downtown Burlington, Iowa
My approach is a balance of gentle guidance and allowing space to "let the moment unfold". I’ll help with posing when you need it, notice the hugs and tears, and pay attention to the small details that often mean the most.
In 2022 when I founded the project, I was soul searching to create something meaningful to more than just myself. Photography has allowed me to turn my adoration of the connections and stories that make us deeply human, into a career I’m incredibly grateful for.
Sol is amazing! So talented and kind! She made me comfortable and also made me smile and laugh! I wanted photos for my business and she was able to capture my vision. I am very pleased with the photos and will definitely think of her whenever I need photos.
